It says that the engine and “crank shaft” are there. Uh huh. Looks like some fancy scrap metal to me.

I’d give $50 for it, there’s a ton of good parts there for someone wanting to hack their own vehicle together.

There are enough good parts there that if you needed one you could buy it, take that part off, then sell it to someone that needs a different part off of it or even to part out yourself.

Was it a something at one point? I’m pretty clueless on when it comes to motorcycles, although I have started to watch Throttle Out on MotorT rend.

The ad said 2009 Honda DN-01. I didn't do any research and I have never heard of such a thing.

Honda DN-01, kind of a $15,000 scooter with a CVT.

Precisely. I don’t think they have a clue as to what they have, nor how to list it. It’s on CL, so I guess that’s a given. : P

How about using it to make something like a more modern, mid-engined Morgan?

That is an interesting combination.

V-twin ( or V-four?), tube frame, single-sided swingarm, cool wheels, and a raked out front end with riser bars.

This has some possibilities, but sorting it out would be a huge undertaking, and not sure what works, what doesn’t, what’s missing, what’s needed...

It looks like it’s a V twin, about 650cc. I’m not sure if want a CVT since I am perfectly capable of shifting for myself.

Thatthinglookslikea wreck, literally and figuratively, and I don't know that is be willing to drop 5 bills on it. Half that price? Maybe I'd take a chance. It does have a title FWIW...

I had a Hawk GT with an engine like that, and a 5-speed manual.

If it is a DN-01, then the hard work has been done for you... getting rid of that ugly bodywork. Something new, sort of a bobber, mixed with Ducati Diavel 1260S power-cruiser styling , and maybe a slight hint of Honda NM4 innovation.

Twist-and-go could be a fun run-about, if tuned properly. The CVT Can Am Ryker is reportedly great fun... but the DN-01 might not be tuned that way.

There are probably 500$ worth of parts there... if one would need them.

Interesting concept, I get a comfy bike, but not a grown up scooter.  Looks better in it’s current form.
